PRICEY FERTILIZER WORSENS FOOD CRISIS

The ever-increasing cost of farm inputs is one of the major problems of farmers. In some cases, to acquire farm inputs, farmers borrow money from loan sharks at usurious interest rates. The escalating cost of crude oil in the international market drives up the market price of chemical fertilizer, further making it impossible for farmers to achieve optimum returns on their investment. This problem drives farmers to near bankruptcy and compels them to abandon farming altogether.

A 50kg bag of NOMI Bio-Organic Fertilizer replaces one (1) 50kg bag of commercial fertilizer.

The feedback and data gathered from our bio-fertilizer end-users on the results are consistent. These are:

      • LOWER FERTILIZER COST
      • CONSIDERABLE INCREASE IN YIELD
      • INCREASED INCOME

At worst, harvest was the same volume compared to chemical fertilizer but substantially lower in cost. The best cases were lower fertilizer cost and increased production volume by 15-20%.
