Our Mission

Agriculture is the single largest source of greenhouse gas, nitrous oxide, and the major contributor in increasing methane concentrations in the earth’s atmosphere.

The use of chemical fertilizers works against nature and create more problems than solutions, thereby contributing greatly to climate change. The manufacture of nitrogen fertilizer is the main use of energy in agriculture. Each tonne of fertilizer produce gives off 6.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent greenhouse gases.

Studies show that soil fertilized with organic materials, such as compost, could increase the amount of stored carbon and potentially help slow down greenhouse emissions. Increasing organic matter in soils may cause improved workability of soils, better water retention, less production and use of mineral fertilizers and pesticides, and reduced release of nitrous oxide. Carbon sequestration in soil has been recognized by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the European Commission as one of the possible measures through which greenhouse gas emissions can be mitigated.

Drinking water in key agricultural areas in the Philippines has been found to be already contaminated by toxic pollution from nitrate fertilizers. Decades of agrochemical use in the Philippines has polluted water sources are directly posing risks to human health and the environment.

Water pollution from agricultural activities is more widespread in the Philippines than previously thought. Recent studies show that excess fertilizer used has already caused nitrates pollution in water bodies in agricultural areas in the country. Analysis of groundwater was found to contain nitrates levels above the World Health Organization (WHO) drinking water safety limit. Nitrates pollution in water poses health risks, especially to children, and nitrogen-based fertilizer runoff has been identified as a cause of algal blooms, such as red tide in water bodies.

NOMI  Business Management & Consultancy Services is a professional entrepreneurship committed to performing its share in mitigating climate change. It is our goal to propagate our proprietary technology in protecting and renewing earth's natural resources by providing cost-saving and more effective environmental-friendly solutions.

We take the natural processes that occur in the soil and waterways, the same bacteria that work in nature and apply these in a concentrated mode.

Instead of taking 10 years, we do it in 30 days.
